Role Description
Providing practical support to women fleeing domestic abuse in refuge.
Type of Activity: Ongoing, Suitable for individuals to apply, In person volunteering
Suitability: Suitable for 18 year olds and over
Time commitment
Minimum 5 hours a week.
Benefit to the volunteer
Work in a dynamic refuge team and develop strong and positive working relationships • Understanding of domestic abuse and opportunity to improve women and children’s safety. • Knowledge and experience of trauma-informed approaches & practice
You will receive
Induction and training, Regular support supervision, Volunteer Handbook, Food expenses, Volunteer policy
