St Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Academy Trust – Diocese of Salford

Are you passionate about education? Do you want to make a meaningful contribution to the future of our schools and young people in your area?

St Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Academy Trust, which supports Catholic primary and secondary schools across the Diocese of Salford, is currently seeking Foundation Governors and Directors to join our local governing bodies and Trust Board.

These voluntary roles are a unique opportunity to live out your faith through service, helping to guide, challenge, and support our schools while upholding our shared Catholic mission.

We are looking for committed individuals who:

Are practising Catholics
Have a strong sense of integrity and a desire to contribute to the Common Good
Bring professional or lived experience in areas such as education, finance, HR, law, strategic planning, or community engagement (though not essential)
Can commit time to attend meetings and engage actively in the life of the Trust

Whether you're an experienced leader or simply passionate about education and faith, we’d love to hear from you.

Type of Activity: Ongoing, Suitable for individuals to apply, In person volunteering

Suitability: Suitable for 18 year olds and over

Time commitment

6 hours per month

Availability: Monday Afternoon, Monday Evening, Tuesday Afternoon, Tuesday Evening, Wednesday Afternoon, Wednesday Evening, Thursday Afternoon, Thursday Evening

Role Location: Various locations in Greater Manchester. Central offices are in Bury

Benefit to the volunteer

As a Director, you will:

* Help set the vision and strategic priorities of the Trust
* Oversee financial planning, performance, and compliance
* Support and challenge senior leaders to deliver excellent outcomes for pupils
