Role Description

** THIS ROLE IS REMOTE AND BASED FROM HOME **

In this role, our volunteer/s will be responsible for compiling and editing photos and footage provided by our video/photo volunteers to create emotive and eye catching videos of our cats to help promote them to the public in the hope of helping them to find a new home. They will also have access to our social media pages in order to get those posts out into the public eye, generating multiple posts each week.

Creating engaging and eye catching media makes a huge difference to our homing efforts, helping cats to be seen by new prospective owners and showcase their beautiful natures! So, from our volunteer, we will ask for the following skills :

- Experience with editing and editing software (does not have to be professional, if you love to do home videos, we want to hear from you too!)

- Experience with social media use

- Access to a computer from home to conduct your volunteering tasks from

- A passion for cats, a desire to help them find their furrever family

- A few hours each week to dedicate to making a huge difference to cats lives 💕🐾

Role Location: This role is mainly remote however the successful applicant will be able to visit our North Manchester Cat Centre for support from our Regional Team if needed.

Volunteers will be coming on board into a committed and friendly team here in the Northwest who are all working together to help as many cats as possible. The successful volunteer will have lots of support from the branch and regional teams and will be able to expand their skills and knowledge by helping with our social media pages, namely facebook and instagram. Volunteers will receive training and help from our national social media teams too. If you have a natural interest in social media or are looking into for a career, this role will look great on your CV!
