Role Description
Are you interested in utilising your teaching skills to improve the lives' of people?
Our aims are to help:
- educate Bury residents aged 18+ by improving their reading, writing, speaking and listening skills in English.
- new residents communicate their needs and participate in the community more effectively.
- support people of all nationalities without bias so they can feel welcome and enjoy life in the UK.
- provide a safe environment where people can come for English language assessments and advice from the ESOL coordinator.
Whether you are retired, in-between jobs or just seeking work experience, volunteering with our amazing group will make you feel needed and rewarded beyond measure. Anyone wanting to coordinate fun ESOL activities for learners, keep a conversation going and gain more experience in ESOL while enjoying a cup of coffee is welcome to join us.
