Bury Social Economy Network - Summer 'Netwalking' session
Join this exciting FREE initiative to find out about upcoming opportunities, learn, share and to network with other organisations working to build a more social economy here in Bury!
This time we have a special summer collaboration with The Sunnywood Project in Burrs Country Park! To make the most of what will no doubt be a gloriously sunny evening (fingers crossed!), we will be heading out for some 'netwalking' out and about in Burrs Country Park, expertly guided by Marc from The Sunnywood Project.
Event aims
- Facilitate networking and learning
- Encourage peer-support and mentoring
- Encourage collaborative and partnership working
Agenda
- Welcome and introductions
- Bury VCFA Support Offer for social enterprise, trading charities & co-ops
- 'Netwalking' around Burrs Country Park - facilitated by Marc from The Sunnywood Project (see list of what to bring underneath!)
- Back to Sunnywood HQ for a drink and something to eat
- Further informal networking and snacking until finish at 8pm
Refreshments will be provided!
Please bring with you:
- Waterproof jacket
- Spare warm layer
- Fully charged mobile phone
- Suitable footwear - trainers, walking shoes or boots
- Water bottle and any personal snacks (some will be provided :))

- Social Economy organisations based in or working in Bury (including social enterprises, trading charities, co-operatives and other mutuals).
- Individuals in the pre-start up stage considering setting up one of the above
