• Encourage peer-support and mentoring
• Encourage collaborative and partnership working

Agenda 

• Welcome and introductions
• Bury VCFA Support Offer for social enterprise, trading charities & co-ops
• Mini-workshop - Good Governance for Social Enterprises
  • What do we mean by 'good governance'? What does it 'look like'?
  • What are the practical things I can do to strengthen the governance of my social enterprise?
  • Session is aimed at directors of CICs and other social enterprise companies, but the principles are equally relevant to charity trustees and societies
• Networking and an opportunity to speak to Bury VCFA staff
• Close at 8pm

• Social Economy organisations based in or working in Bury (including social enterprises, trading charities, co-operatives and other mutuals).
• Individuals in the pre-start up stage considering setting up one of the above
